I’ve returned to Sicily for the fifth time since 2023, and it feels wonderful to be back.
Autumn here —l’autunno—still carries plenty of sunshine at the moment, with mild days around 18 degrees. The chill hasn’t arrived yet, though I know it’s on its way.
Christmas is beginning to sparkle: Catania’s city centre is glowing with festive lights, and the markets are already buzzing with holiday energy.
I’m happy to say it's still perfectly fine weather for gelato!
